Especificações do produto
A ring with rims made of 585 gold. In the middle of the ring there are images of fishes made of 925 silver. Each fish contains an inscribed monogram of Jesus Christ's name. In the Greek word ICHTHYS (fish) Christians of the ancient Church saw a mysterious acrostic made up from the first letters of a sentence expressing confession of the Christian faith: Jesous Christos Theou Yios Soter – Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Saviour. "But if you join the initial letters of these five Greek words, they will make the word ICHTHYS, that is, fish, in which word Christ is mystically understood, because He was able to live, that is, to exist, without sin in the abyss of this mortality as in the depth of waters" (Blessed Augustine. The City of God. XVIII. 23.1). Inner side of the ring contains an inscribed prayer "God Be Merciful to Me a Sinner".
